This game was made for Major Jam 4 and was my first game jam game!

The theme was cosmic and the limitation was "the player must cheat"

A galactic exterminator has come to a colonized moon to eliminate an invasive species living in its underground cave system. This game is not what it seems. At its core, it may be a simple metroidvania about killing some generic space monsters; but it is really about you, the player, being trapped in the game. You have to use cheat codes provided to you by a mysterious disembodied voice to ruin the game's integrity. Your goal is to defeat the final boss with an instakill cheat code in order to break the game and escape.

Cheat codes are spread around the map and are activated by correctly entering a three-letter string of numbers. Be mindful however, cheat codes only last for a small amount of time before they are "patched out" by the game and you have to activate them again.
